Isn't human cloning and killing human embryos illegal?

No.  Both embryonic stem cell research, human cloning, and adult stem cell research are generally legal in the United States and Kentucky.

Researchers in Kentucky are free to clone embryonic human beings and either kill them for embryonic stem cell research or implant them in order to grow a baby in the womb.
